It feels so good to finally share our apartment renovation! Mixed metals, neutral colors, a little french country, a little modern, and a lot of farmhouse makes an inviting comfortable space.
We actually updated the apartment almost a year ago, because we needed a place to stay while the house was a demolition zone. Well… set back after set back, we still haven’t started the main house, but we are closer than ever!! To see what the main house looks like and house specs, GO HERE.
Since we are getting so close, we decided to finish what we started. We went through and put the finishing touches on the apartment. Today I’m excited to share the breakfast nook, kitchen, and laundry room with you!

Wicker is one of my favorite ways to add visual interest and texture to a neutral color pallet.

We decided to save money and not replace the formica countertops. Therefore the wall and cabinet colors were chosen carefully to not make the older white countertops look yellow.
Modern macrame rug was actually a table runner that I knew would be perfect! Wood look tile from Floor & Decor.
I found all the appliances on Craigslist. Yup every single one, including the sink! Cabinet Color is Sherwin Williams On the Rocks (SW 7671).
The laundry room is small but very functional. Whoever originally designed the apartment did a great job! There is a large cabinet above the washer and dryer with TONS of storage. Cabinet color Sherwin Williams Snowbound (SW 7004).
